Part of the Pam Golding Wildlife Estate Trail Run Series, the Zandspruit trail run is the second on the list. Set in the exclusive Zandspruit Bush and Aero Estate, you can enjoy the company of African fauna whilst walking or running.  You will most likely get to spot various species of game with animals like Giraffe, Kudu, and Zebra a plenty.  This is the second in the series but don’t let this  be the only one, to see and enter the full series click here

Start: 20km – 7am,  11km – 7:30am,  5km – 7:45am.

Walkers are welcome on the 5km and 10km courses. Kids under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

Number collection & late entries from 6am – 7:30am. Please arrive with plenty of time to process your registration!

A KidZone will be available for children 2yrs+, so parents can get out on the trails! Experienced childminders and stimulating, fun games will be available R30-00 per child. (What’s a KidZone?)

There is plenty accommodation in and around Hoedspruit via Airbnb but we will post options closer to the venue on our Facebook page where possible.

Pre-entries close at Midnight on Thursday the day before the event. Late entries are available, but R40.00 surcharge applies (U18s exempt).

Giving Back

The series, being heavily community focused, has some great opportunities for you to contribute towards the environment and runners who otherwise would not have had the exposure to these type of events. A portion of your entry fee for this event will go towards fund a raising initiative allocated by the reserve.

Each event will also have a shoe drop box which will allow you to donate old or new running shoes to those who could sorely use a decent pair.

Zand spruit Bush & Aero Estate is a vast 1 000ha Estate near Hoedspruit. Of the 1 000ha, 350ha has been demarcated for residential development of African bush homes. Amongst the development projects are a 5 star Safari Resort and an Equestrian Centre. The balance of the Estate, comprising of 650ha of land, is left as an untouched Wilderness area where residents may enjoy game drives, horse rides, cycling, walking, jogging or a sunset picnic.
